Ekiti State University Admission Portal- EKSU Requirements and Admission Process 2022

Ekiti State University admission portal is now open to students who wish to study for a two years diploma. This can either be a part time or full time course.

The Ekiti State university admission portal is open to those who has O’Level results such as NECO, WAEC and GCE with either a credit or distinctions attached to it.

The good part of it is that, no JAMB is required for the registration process but a test of knowledge will also be used to get qualifed students needed for the admission

Awaiting results can also apply for the admission process which makes it easier for any student to process their admission while waiting for their Senior School Certificate result to be out.

The Ekiti state offers admission into full time and part time ( diploma, advanced diploma, B.Sc equivalents, PDG and master programs). The Ekiti State admission portal is open to students who wish to study the following courses.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY

DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

Admission into the Ekiti state university is not automatic as JAMB is not required but an examination will still be conducted just like a test of knowledge to see those that qualify into joining the programme.

Students are advised to login to the Ekiti State University Admission Portal and get their screening forms. The forms can also be gotten from their adminstrator office or at their mini campus.

Five credits on O’Level results (WAEC-SSCE, GCE, NABTEB)

Awaiting results can also get the forms from the office and fill in awaiting results when filling the form.

ADVANCED DIPLOMA (B.SC EQUIVALENT)

Diploma (OND) Diploma from any recognized university of minimum of lower credit satisfactory requirements, matriculations and convocation ceremony at EKSU MAIN CAMPUS, EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY, IWOKORO ROAD, ADO-EKITI.

In this type, students are allowed to pay school fees with installments

NYSC -Youth Service and instant collection of certificates for all successful graduants after completion of all studies in school.

Students after graduation can also gain membership into some relevant profesional bodies both in Nigeria and other countries overseas

DURATION FOR LECTURE PERIODS

The diploma programme will last for two years with total of four semesters in a year which will be enough to cover up lot of things that can be done in four years that universities and polytechnics study.

The study programme will also allow full time studies which will be mostly from Mondays to Friday while the part time courses will only be on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.

The Advanced Diploma which is a substitute or equivalence to Bachelor of Science degrees which are obtained in universities after four years of hard studies. This one can also be obtained for Ekiti state university after two years of studies.

In your registration, you can also choose a full time course which last from Mondays till Fridays while the part time programme last just three days which is mainly for the working class and some business men who wish to step up their games by having more degrees.

They opt for this programme which is an ideal one for them. The semester is same as the diploma programme .

The only difference between them is the heirachy of degree which is offered after graduation.
